Behind the Scenes

In October last year, Andrew, Melinda (Art and Creative Director) and Director Hugh Peachey got a team of 10 people together to head up to Mount Hotham for four days to shoot a video for Wait Here for the Sun. They were long days, starting before sunrise and finishing well after sunset. Our stars, Alex and Bryony were legends working long hours in the freezing cold, as were our camera crew and our chef Matt who kept our bellies full non stop.

As well as the challenges we faced in the cold, on the last evening we had to negotiate with some pig hunters with guns who had decided to move into the abandoned hut we were shooting in. But we all got through it, including Andrew driving the 1950's Land Rover back down the mountain with no brakes and the cabin full of petrol fumes...

It was all worth it as we've come up with a very scenic and emotional clip that fits perfectly with the music.
